Free Solar for Yorkshire Schools Leeds Solar
Leeds Solar seeks expressions of interest from suitable schools in the Yorkshire and Humberside region for a pilot project offering a free or very low cost large-scale Solar PV installation and energy audit to suitable schools in the region.
Eligible schools must have a large un-shaded South facing sloped roof (or between SE-SW), or large un-shaded flat roof area, in a good state of repair.
Successful schools would
benefit from significantly reduced electricity bills, curriculum linked environmental learning opportunities and contribute to government carbon reduction targets.
