upper campus are considered public use areas and are not available for reservation. Parker Chapel Courtyard is not a reservable area. When Murchison Tower is used for programming, the Courtyard is considered an auxiliary area, but not a programming area. Lower Campus Reservable spaces include the Meadows Pavilion, outdoor courts, and playing fields. These spaces have special requirements (for more information view T-SPACE). Miller Fountain Occasionally, the fountain may be reserved for major university-sponsored events. Request for the fountain area must be submitted via T-SPACE a minimum of 15 business days prior to the proposed event. Final approval resides with the president.


Equipment (Review facility attributes for the venue you have selected prior to submitting your T-SPACE request)


 Arrange for special set up arrangements (audio/visual equipment from CLT, tables, trash, staging, lecterns, electricity, water hoses, special cleaning) in the “comments” section when you reserve a venue via T-SPACE.


 Sound equipment & Music Coordinator: Complete the Sound Equipment Rental Form and contact the Coordinator for Student Organizations & Leadership in CCI. A $10/hour fee applies to all rentals.


 Staging: Make your request for stage equipment through T-SPACE in the “comments” section.  Point-of-Sale (POS) TigerBucks machines: see “Sources of Funding & Fundraising Opportunities” section below


Publicity & Promotion


Opportunities for Promotion  Student Activities Calendar in Coates University Center: Events are considered for posting on a first-come, first- serve basis. Student organizations can post flyers on tack strips surrounding the calendar.


 Student-run campus media: Complete a Request for Media Coverage and submit to selected student media. Trinity’s jazz music station, KRTU, has a large off-campus listening audience.


 Trinitonian advertising: Contact trinitonian-adv@trinity.edu or 999-8555 for rates and to reserve ad space.  TigerTV: Free video messaging services. Go to the http://www.trinity.edu/tigertv/index.htm.  TU LeaderTalk: Join the listserv of student leaders and members of student organizations. Subscribe by sending an email to subscribe-tuleadertalk@lyris.its.trinity.edu.


 Local media: If the general public is invited to an event, consider contacting local television stations, local radio stations, the Express-News or the Current.


 LeeRoy: Distributed by the Office of University Communications via email Monday through Friday during the academic year. Electronic submission forms are available via Tiger’s Lair (Trinity Forms> “Submit an Event to LeeRoy”) or by clicking on the submission link in any LeeRoy issue.


 Banner Printer: In Coates University Center, Suite 122 a digital banner machine is available for student organization special events.


 Hang banners. Banners can be placed on the railing of the second floor of Mabee and in the main lobby of Coates University Center (tacks are available at the Information Desk). Student organizations are responsible for removing outdated banners.


 Campus Mailboxes & US Postal services: While the Mail Center does not distribute flyers to student mailboxes they can help with US Postal Service mailings. Call 999-7220 or go to the Mail Center for more information.
