Lunch bunch – Hancock’s annual Fall Barbecue is Fri., Oct. 29. More information will come home after fall intersession. Running Club – Hancock’s Running Club begins Mon., Nov. 1. The club promotes fitness and encourages sportsmanship, and meets from 3:10 to 4:10 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays. More information will come home after fall intersession. Contact Coach Litzinger at 480-883-5915 with any questions. Fall Festival – Hancock PTO invites area residents to enjoy its Fall Festival on Fri., Nov. 12. The event features food, games, prizes, music and other fun. Many parent volunteers are needed; if interested, call 480-883-5900. Intel gives – Intel provides funding to schools through its Volunteer Matching Grant Program. Any Intel employees with children who attend Hancock are eligible to apply for the grant. Youth Jacobson Jets


Pickup time – Fall Fundraiser pickup is 3 to 6 p.m. Thu., Oct. 21. All items must be picked up at this time as there is no storage available for them.


Eat Out Night – Jacobson’s next Eat Out Night is 3 to 8 p.m. Tue., Oct. 26 at Peter Piper Pizza. Twenty percent of all purchases, including tokens, goes back to Jacobson. Lunch on the Lawn – Families are invited to join their Jacobson students for Lunch on the Lawn Fri., Oct. 29 and stop by the Book Fair. The Hamilton Jazz Band performs and Jet Gear and Krispy Kreme doughnut certificates are available for purchase. Bingo Night – Join Jacobson for Bingo Night Fri., Nov. 5. Pizza and beverages are available for purchase. Winter Wonderland – Jacobson hosts a Winter Wonderland Boutique 6 to 9 p.m. Fri., Nov. 19. Interested vendors can contact jacobsonpto@ gmail.com; cost is $10 per table plus a donation for the raffle. Superstars – Andrew McArthur is the Super Star Husky of the Week.
