Pin the Tail on the Pumpkin, bean bag toss and more. Watch elephants, tortoises, monkeys and other animals snack on pumpkins throughout the complex, and bring a camera for snapshots of children in the Pumpkin Patch. Free with admission: $9 to $18, free ages 2 and younger. Ideal for ages 7 and younger.

There will be trick-or-treating, DJ music and animal encounters, too. The cost is $6 to $8.

Town of Queen Creek Trunk-or-Treat 5-9 p.m. Oct. 30 Desert Mountain Park


22201 S. Hawes Rd., Queen Creek 480-358-3000, www.queencreek.org Enjoy a free, safe evening of trick-or-treating in a festival atmosphere. Costumed children trick-or-treat by going from car trunk to car trunk. Individuals and groups can sign up to host and decorate a trunk, and the Town of Queen Creek provides the candy for the event.
