20 Oct. 16 - Nov. 5, 2010 HOV construction from Page 1

Funding for the construction comes from a combination of Proposition 400, the regional half-cent transportation sales tax voted on in November 2004, and federal transportation funds.

The project is part of the Regional Transportation Plan, in which ADOT has worked with partners to add more than 50 miles of new HOV lanes to the Valley’s freeway system in recent years.
