Anaheim Ducks Surprise Puck Sets


To help raise funds for the Anaheim Ducks Foundation, the Ducks will be selling a commemorative series Surprise Puck Set, featuring four limited edition Anaheim Ducks pucks. The first of four puck sales will be Opening Night at the Wednesday, October 13 home game in section 213, as soon as doors open at 5:30pm. Pucks will cost $30.


Fans will pick an individually wrapped puck at random and receive either a Ducks player- autographed com- memorative puck or – for 24 lucky fans – a Surprise Ducks player-auto- graphed orange puck. The lucky winners of the Opening Night commemorative sur- prise puck sale will win an Anaheim Ducks jersey autographed by the player selected. Additional Surprise Puck Set sales will take place at Ducks home games through- out the season: Friday, November 26 – Third Jersey


Puck – Lucky winners will receive an Anaheim Ducks third jersey autographed by the player selected. Wednesday, February 2 – Anaheim Ducks All-Stars Puck – Surprise Puck recipients will win a Western Conference All-Star jersey. Friday, April 8 – Fan Appreciation Night Puck – Winners of the final Surprise Puck night will win the opportunity to meet the Ducks player who autographed their lucky puck during the 2011-12 season.

Hockey Fights Cancer Night


Each October is the National Hockey League’s Hockey Fights Cancer (HFC) month, a charitable initiative estab- lished by the NHL as a way for the hockey community to come together to fight can- cer, a disease that has affect- ed so many individuals in the NHL. Throughout the month, Ducks players – along with all NHL players


– will be wearing HFC lavender decals on their hel- mets in support of the cause. In addition to the NHL pro- gram, the Ducks will be hosting HFC Night at Honda Center on Sunday, October 17, as the Ducks play the Phoenix Coyotes. This season’s HFC Night will help raise awareness for the Orange County/Inland Empire chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). The night will include an LLS representa- tive being awarded the Community Hero Award, which will recognize an individual
