LA’S PUBLIC TRANSIT SYSTEM
SUBWAY, LIGHT RAIL, BUSES AND SHUTTLES
The Los Angeles Metro is one of the largest public transit systems in the United States. Metro provides services covering over 1,433 square miles with more than 190 individual bus routes and six rail lines that include both subway and light-rail trains. The Vermont/Wilshire Metro Rail station, less than two blocks from campus, provides easy access to the downtown district, Hollywood and the San Fernando and San Gabriel Valleys. Special Rapid Line buses run along Wilshire in front of the law school, and discount Metro passes are available for Southwestern students.
