I wanted to take this opportunity to update you about the range of products and services we can offer you and your business.We can train your staff, offer advice about the best way to get the skills you need in your business and design bespoke programmes for you and your organisation. Business First offers an extensive range of courses for businesses and individuals, with a range of qualification levels on offer. Whether you're an employer looking to improve workforce skills or an employee looking to widen your individual skills base, we're sure we have a course to interest you. One of my primary aims for Business First is to forge and develop links between the college and local businesses and industries that provide life blood of vital employment to the area.


To date, over 200 new apprentices have been signed up since the launch of Swindon College’s Apprenticeship Campaign which was designed to create awareness and highlight the benefits that apprentices do pay their way and employers will see a visible return on their investment.We have also launched a new apprenticeship employer network service and held the first meeting in September, which was a great success. As part of the Apprenticeship campaign we are offering employers a free vacancy matching service and full support to ensure that the right candidate is selected and recommended to you.
