Norbury Manor goes from strength to strength In June OFSTED returned to the college and reconfirmed its ‘Outstanding’ grading; ALPS places the school in the top 10% nationallyinregards to value added; and in November the new9 million pound sixth formcentre opens for business.
This newstate of the artbuilding will provide 21st Centurylearning for the 21st Centurystudent. Ahuge Common Room and separate Study Facility look after the personal and social needs of the students. With 24 newclassrooms, 390 newcomputers, breakout spaces and an attached Business &Enterprise Centre all learning needs will also be catered for.
The College has awide range of AS and A-Levels on offer; in September 2010 the BAFand ICT Diplomas are being introduced to the curriculum as well as more Level2and Level3BTEC courses. With the newbuilding and the different pathwaysavailable Norbury Manor nowprovides agenuinelycomprehensive post-16 curriculum.
