Gaming Partners International

At the 2010 G2E, Gaming Partners International will once again display its full range of table game products, including its three popular brands of casi- no currency—Paulson, Bourgogne et Grasset and Bud Jones—as well as table layouts, precision dice, playing cards, custom-built gaming tables and furniture and table game accessories. In addition, GPI will again feature live demonstrations of its RFID

technologies at work, showcasing the newest RFID applications for the gaming table and cage. The new RFID readers and application software help improve casino currency security, increase speed of play at gaming tables and eliminate error in chip counts and calculations. Visitors also will see a chip inventory system to which GPI recently

acquired the rights. This newly developed communication platform inte- grates RFID data into a variety of casino management systems. As a result of its recent agreement with IGT, GPI has acquired the ability to develop, manufacture and distribute additional high-frequency RFID products and systems worldwide, significantly expanding the RFID solutions it can offer to casino customers. GPI also will showcase new Macau-style dual- and single-level wooden

RFID chip trays, new integrated lighting features on roulette tables and new handcrafted,

custom-built gaming

tables—as well as GPI’s revolutionary eReady Table, precision roulette wheels, roulette reader and baccarat displays and themed casino products.

eREADY TABLE As the gaming floor becomes increasing- ly sophisticated in the areas of efficiency and security—including the growing use of RFID technology for chip verification and tracking—gaming tables have become inundated with electronic equipment such as shufflers, RFID read- ers and display monitors. All of this electronic equipment in one small space has the potential to create issues such as equipment overheating, wireless sig-

nals interfering and a tangle of cables. GPI’s eReady gaming tables are designed and built especially to

accommodate the electronic equipment that is increasingly required on gaming tables. Drawing upon its extensive experience in manufacturing high-end gaming furniture, as well as its pioneering efforts in developing and implementing RFID technology on table games, GPI has developed an innovative and unique design that allows the electronic equipment to perform at its fullest potential, while maintaining the beauty and function of the gaming tables. The eReady table combines GPI’s custom-built, hand-crafted gaming

tables with a unique internal design that will accommodate each casino’s equipment requirements. Special features include specially built areas for shufflers and bill validators to be securely and ergonomically placed for deal- er convenience and comfort; ventilation openings for optimal cooling of the electronic equipment; and a unique internal piping and conduit system designed to separate and insulate electrical, network and RFID cables. In addition, because sensitive RFID wiring can easily pick up disturbances from AC sources or other cables, the eReady table also contains routing grooves under the table top that are coated with specially formulated shielding paint to eliminate disturbances and protect these cables. The table top also is coat- ed tomake sure other signals don’t interfere with the RFID transmitters.

ROULETTE READER DISPLAYS and BACCARAT DISPLAYS To complement its line of precision roulette wheels, GPI offers slim-line, easy-to-install GPI roulette reader displays, which come in a variety of sizes. They have integrated cameras and offer real-time instant reading of roulette-wheel action.Displays include statistics such as the 16 last winning numbers, simple bet and hot and cool numbers, as well as minimum and maximum table bets; there’s also an area for commercial messages. GPI also offers baccarat displays, which are fully customizable and dis-

play all the relevant statistics of the game. The plug-and-play baccarat display features a 19-inch horizontal screen and an easy-to-use table-mounted 19-key keypad with calculator option, all of which can be networked to enable the display of real-time statistics. Graphics can be customized to accommodate the casino’s display preferences, including a custom logo and background, table and game information, game statistics, results statistics and more.

THEMED PRODUCTS GPI’s themed products help extend casino marketing efforts all the way to the gaming table. Utilizing chips, layouts and dice, casinos can market directly to a captive audience: the table game player.GPI’s highly customiz- able themed products are the same high-quality products casinos use every day—just customized for a specific event or milestone. Whether used to commemorate holidays, promote concerts or sporting events or celebrate casino anniversaries, players will love these products’ uniqueness, and casi- no marketing will love their impact.
