The incredible Donnie Yen returns as the Wing Chun master in the rousing, action packed sequel, IP MAN 2. Following the events of the first film, Master Ip and his family settle in Hong Kong after the end of the Second World War. However, Master Ip’s attempt to establish a Wing Chun school is met with resistance by a cabal of local martial arts instructors, led by Master Hung (portrayed by the film’s action director Sammo Hung).

In addition to this challenge, a greater threat looms. The brutal foreign devil, western boxing champion Taylor “The Twister” Milos (martial artist Darren Shahlavi) has arrived in Hong Kong, seeking to take on any challengers in order to prove his superiority over the Chinese martial arts masters. To defend his personal honor, and the honor of his nation, Master Ip prepares for the battle of his life against a seemingly unbeatable adversary.—Ian Hirokawa
