Ashley (centre), along with Nikki Owens (left), spent 10 weeks in Ghana facilitating sexual reproductive health workshops and piloting an environment health initiative. In 2009, they were named YCI’s Volunteers of the Year.


My experience develop- ing and conducting work- shops provided me with a valuable yet realistic ex- perience in which to build a career in international development. YCI is an amazing organization to represent. The support and guidance we received played an integral role in our success.
