School held their Jazz Brunch Harvest on the Hill to benefit fine arts in Windham. This event was sponsored by the Windham Endowment for Community Advancement and Windham Musical Arts Association. After music by the KJS Quintet and an incredible brunch full of hot and very tasty items, the afternoon ended with music by Student Performers Adam DiPersio, Timmy Raymond, Dan Khabbaz, Brian Short, Patrick Fitzgerals, Stephen Dennison, and Melanie Fenton, and singing by All-State singer Jessica MacKimm. This was a time
to sit back and enjoy good company, eat, listen to great music, and help a good cause. Good job to all who helped make this event a success! The Windham Musical Arts Association is a non-profit organization that works to promote and maintain an enthusiastic interest in the various phases of the Windham High School and Windham Middle School music departments. All possible support, both moral and financial, is given. This includes coordinating volunteer efforts for concerts, festivals, parades, and fundraising, as well as funding for music scores, buses for
field trips and festivals, workshops, and sponsoring events like homecoming. The Windham Endowment for Community Advancement concludes its Capital Campaign for Windham High School, having provided almost $100,000 in capital equipment for the school. They also partner with local organizations such as the Windham Community Band, Boy Scout Troop 266, and the Windham Historic Commission. They have also dedicated funds for the Nesmith Library and the Greenhouse Project.
