n Sharia Finance JANUARY 14, 2010— Capitalism, socialism and communism each combine principles of ideology and economic distribution.

Radical

Islam is no different. To- day, one of the greatest threats to western civilization and economy is Sharia Finance. Sharia Finance, also known as Islamic Bank- ing, Islamic Finance, Sharia Economic Jurisprudence, and other such names, is considered by many to be Financial Jihad. Radical Islam wants Sharia Finance to be the next

global economic system. Sharia Finance dictates that money can only be

invested in companies that are approved by Sharia Supervisory Committees. These committees sit in bank offices of the largest financial institutions across the world. Sharia Finance seeks to undermine and convert

western capitalism, by infiltrating our economy from the inside. Sharia Finance wants you to allow commit- tees of Sheikhs to decide where your money is invested. Though Sharia Finance does not profit from inter-

est, or ‘prohibited’ items such as pork, alcohol, gam- bling, etc., it does fund Global Jihad. According to the codes of Sharia Finance, a por-

tion of all funds invested must go to Islamic charities. The problem is knowing what activities these charities support. Over two dozen Islamic charities in the U.S. have already been classified as terror-sponsoring or- ganizations. But in Sharia Finance, the Sheikhs decide which charities are selected. Sharia is a system that promotes inequality for

non-Muslims, women, and other ‘inferior’ classes. Sharia Finance and Law are practiced nationally in Saudi Arabia, Iran and Sudan. Right before our eyes, Sharia Finance has fully

infiltrated our western banking and financial system. Most major western financial institutions have rap- idly growing divisions dedicated to Sharia Finance including AIG, Citigroup, HSBC, TD Ameritrade, Charles Schwab, and others. Why? Because financial institutions need capital

to bolster a weakening economy, and Sharia Finance represents one of the fastest growing economic sectors worldwide. They have already taken a dangerous hold on our financial system. Make sure your money is invested safely, and take concrete steps to prevent those in your community

from fueling the global spread of Sharia Finance. SOURCE: RADICALISLAM.ORG

n Nuclear Detector Set Up on Iran Border DECEMBER 4, 2009—Israeli officials believe the international commu- nity is “starting to come to the understanding that Iran has been lying to everybody” about its nuclear intentions, a senior Israeli diplomatic official told The Jerusalem Post on Thursday. The statement followed news of a UN agency completing a nuclear

test detection station in Turkmenistan, just a few kilometers from the Iranian border. The PS44 installation is the 337th facility of the International Moni-

toring System. It was set up by the Comprehensive Test-Ban Treaty Orga- nization (CTBTO), a network of stations across the globe that monitors the atmosphere to detect nuclear blasts by countries secretly testing nuclear weapons. PS44 is expected to be operational by 2010, once it has been tested. There have been more than 2,000 nuclear test explosions worldwide

since the Manhattan Project’s Trinity trial in the US in July 1945. The last detonation occurred May 25, when North Korea said it conducted a test, an event that was detected at 61 of the CTBTO’s seismic stations. While the Turkmenistan site is part of a larger network, the opening

of a station near Iran may signify that “the Iranian issue is finally gaining ground in the international community,” according to the Israeli official. More proof of this came when the board of governors of the Interna-

tional Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) voted to censure Iran, on November 27, for failing to cooperate in international efforts to verify its claims that its nuclear program has peaceful intentions. “Luckily, Iran itself is decimating the efforts of even its most vocifer-

ous defenders to help it avoid international criticism,” the Israeli official said. The diplomatic fallout from the November 27 IAEA resolution contin- ued to be felt on Thursday as the United States warned Iran that time was running out to avoid sanctions due to its nuclear program. According to White House spokes-

man Robert Gibbs, Tehran’s deadline was the end of the year for responding to international demands to halt en- richment and allow more complete inspection of its nuclear facilities.

Becomes President of EU NOVEMBER 19, 2009 BRUSSELS—European Union leaders named Belgian Prime Minister Herman Van Rompuy, a man little known outside his home country, as the bloc’s first president on No- vember 19, 2009 to lead efforts to make it more influential on the world stage. They also chose Baroness Catherine Ashton, a little-known Briton, as EU foreign affairs chief

n Belgian Van Rompuy Iran has ignored a deal offered by the Western powers that would have

Iran send its low-enriched uranium abroad for enriching or use in peace- ful energy production. Gibbs said it was “pretty clear” that the Iranians were backing out of that agreement. Also Thursday Iran’s foreign minister, Manouchehr Mottaki, said the

resolution would “not stop Iran from developing its nuclear program,” in the words of the state-run news agency Press TV, which was quoting a Thursday statement by Iran’s foreign ministry. Mottaki said Tehran was fully cooperating with the IAEA and that the

Geneva-based agency has consistently verified the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program. He accused Western powers of politicizing the issue. China, too, which voted in favor of the resolution censuring Iran, urged

Teheran to cooperate with the IAEA and to resolve the dispute with the inter- national watchdog quickly. According to Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang, “China’s

vote was consistent with its position on the Iran nuclear issue, which urged the parties involved to resolve the issue through dialogue and negotiation,” the official Xinhua news agency reported. Qin added that China would push forward the process of a diplomatic

solution to the Iran nuclear issue. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared that his country

will enrich uranium to a much higher level than previously planned - a fresh rejection of the international efforts to curb the country’s nuclear program. “I declare here that with the grace of god, the Iranian nation will pro-

duce 20 percent fuel and anything it needs itself,” Ahmadinejad told a cheer- ing crowd in the central city of Isfahan. Ahmadinejad said Tehran was ready to further enrich some of its pres-

ent stockpile—now at 3.5 percent to 20 percent, the grade needed to create fuel for a small medical research reactor in the Iranian capital. Meanwhile, Iranian nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili met with Hamas

leaders during a visit to Syria on Thursday. The Palestinian party’s deputy head Moussa Abu Marzouk said they discussed Palestinian affairs but did not provide any further details.

under a deal that kept out the more established frontrunner, Tony Blair. Both Germany and France joined forces to block Blair’s candidacy. The presidency role was created under the

EU’s [recent] Lisbon reform treaty, which will make decision-making easier in the bloc and cre- ates a diplomatic corps to be headed by Ashton. Van Rompuy, who will not need the assembly’s approval, won plaudits for holding together Bel- gium’s fragile coalition government after becom- ing prime minister less than a year ago.
