In 2010 the University signed a cluster of higher education agreements, totalling approximately A$14 million with universities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The nine agreements include the provision of study abroad programs, support for assessment and academic units, exchanges of scholars and resources, research collaboration, professional development workshops for health professionals, staff development and research training for medical, biomedical science and science students.
Agreements were signed with King Abdulaziz University, Islamic University, TAIF University and Ha’il University from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In recent years, the Monash University Accident Research Centre (MUARC), a world leader in road safety research and initiatives, signed a memorandum of understanding to assist the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) establish the UAE Research Centre for Transportation and Traffic Safety at its main campus in Al Ain. MUARC is assisting the UAEU set up a cross-faculty research institute, provide training for investigators, supply equipment for conducting crash inspections, and monitor the process and quality of the data received.
Monash University is also collaborating with Sharjah University in the United Arab Emirates to develop medicine and pharmacy degrees in Sharjah. As part of the agreement, Monash will provide its medicine and pharmacy curriculum and course material for use in the medical and pharmacy colleges at Sharjah.
INTERNSHIPS AND INDUSTRIAL PLACEMENTS
