In Brevard, we’ve got an immense unemployment issue developing, and how we go about securing and managing our resources is helping to steer how our community comes out on the other end. This of course is not news to anyone, but a little

than ever, there is no magic bullet that will fix our intensifying jobs situation right now. There are only incremental steps in the right direction for each of the fronts we are facing, so we have to have faith, manage the stress and dig deep for patience.


Crafting Our Response Brevard Workforce has pulled together local and


state stakeholders, called on industry, and applied for and secured a variety of grants over the past two years to support our missions. It may be hard looking in from the outside to understand exactly how some of these efforts are helping. Studies, for example, may seem frivolous, but they help us to identify real opportunities both inside and outside
