In fabric making workshops led by local artist Sue Field, make a panel as part of the Piccy Tree processional structure that will have its first outing at St Martin’s Fair on 2nd October. Panels will celebrate the life, history and people of Liskeard. Come along and sew a patch to celebrate Liskeard, no experience needed.

Liskeard to Looe Walk (Walking Festival event) 9.45am Start Liskeard Railway Station (Looe platform) - everyone's favourite and has featured in the walking festival every year the 11 mile ramble down the West Looe Valley. Don't be put off by the distance most of the walk is along the valley bottom & there is only one short steep climb. Mark Camp will be leading the walk, using his skills as a Blue Badge guide to keep you informed and entertained along the route. Walk approx 61/2hrs including stops. – we finish this year's walking festival with a walk in Trenant Woods. This year we are offering something different by walking along the foreshore to enter the woods. The reason for this is that we are hoping to catch good views of the Steam Trains as they come into Looe. We will then return through the woods to start of the walk.
