ast year’s inaugural comedy festival at Harrogate Theatre


was a huge success, with over 5,000 people enjoying shows from some of the UK’s funniest performers. But things look set to get even bigger and better in 2010. Throughout the two week event


in October more than forty of the country’s top comedians will perform at the Harrogate venue, with TV stars, household names and bright young things catering for a whole range of tastes. The biggest names include


Glaswegian star Kevin Bridges and Mock The Week regulars Sarah Millican and Chris Addison, as well as cult sensation Stewart Lee ahead of a new series of his BBC2 show. They are joined by the very best


performers on the British comedy circuit. Highlights include Greg Davies (from C4’s The Inbetweeners

Harrogate Theatre will play host to an expanded line-up for this year’s festival, with the best emerging talent bringing shows


which have been drawing great critical and audience acclaim at Comedy Festivals the world over. Performances include Josie Long (Edinburgh Comedy Award winner), Isy Suttie (Dobby from C4’s Peep Show) Robin Ince (Mock The Week, The News Quiz) and the latest comedy act taking the world by storm: The Boy with Tape on his Face. The Hyena Comedy Club will
