by Chris White The Campbell girls’ soccer team is off to a strong start in 2010, winning its first four contests for a 4-0 record on the young season. The Cougars began the season with road wins at Hillsboro-Deering and Raymond, both by the score of 4-0. Their most recent victories came on their home field last week. The Cougars shut out Mascenic 10-0 on Friday, September 3, and then defeated Kearsarge 6-1 this past Tuesday. Against Raymond back on Tuesday, August 31, the Campbell offense was paced by goals from Olivia Planty (assisted by Shawna Trunca), Heather Geist (assisted by Trunca), Jamie Shepard (assisted by Holly Lesperance), and Casey Mellen (unassisted). Playing well on defense for the Cougars were Jordan Billings, Liz Pettis, Ashley Gannon, and Courtney Gannon.
