Our new science building, which will provide science labs and research facilities for the growing number of science students, and our newly remodeled Student Union feature several energy effi ciencies and were designed for Silver Certifi cation from Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), a nationally accepted standard for environmentally-friendly buildings.


A smaller footprint Students, faculty, and staff work together on projects including shared campus gardens, composting, recycling, and the support of local growers. Residence halls participate in friendly competitions to reduce energy usage.
