Ken Blevens –

Libertarian Candidate for U.S. Senate Ken Blevens, the

Libertarian candidate for U.S. Senate, is looking for the support of voters who also support the constitution as the controlling law of the United States.

Ken Blevens

If elected, he will “not” be going to Washington to balance or support neither the Republicans nor the Democrats, but instead to check them. He will stand up for the

constitutional rights of New Hampshire citizens in Washington, the same way he stood up for the 276 voters in the town of Dunbarton who were being denied their constitutional right to participate in the 2010 elections. After over six

months, Secretary of State Bill Gardner concluded that Blevens was right and allowed the 276 voters to be able to participate by allowing their nominations as part of the official count for the U.S. Senate election. Ken has taken on many local property rights

issues. On his Website (http://kblevens.org), there is a great story about Blevens’ fight written by Hank Amsden in the surveyor’s magazine Bench Mark. He has also realized that the two-party control of our three branches of government has been the destruction of the forefather’s intent for checks on government. Today, Independent voters outnumber both Republicans and Democrats. Thus, when a Republican says you can’t win, you now know he or she is wrong. Hopefully, with more and more voters becoming Independents every day, they can, and now will, elect a third-party candidate. It would be an honor to be that candidate. Thank you for your consideration.

Second District Congressional Candidate I am running

for Congress because I believe we

must strengthen and restore the American middle class. In a

country as strong and powerful as ours, people should be able to count on a few basic things: to hold onto a

job, hold on to their home, educate their children, and afford decent healthcare. That shouldn’t be too much to ask for in America.

My number-one priority will be to create jobs and get the economy moving. We need tax incentives to help small businesses hire and retain workers, and we must provide tax cuts for the middle class. We also need to encourage large companies that are sitting on $1.8 trillion in cash reserves to invest some of their profits in new plants and businesses. We can create good jobs by focusing on new clean-energy initiatives. The economy that leads in green technology will be the economy that leads the world

in this century. There are millions of good jobs to be created in engineering, construction, retrofitting, marketing, etc. These are jobs that can be created right here in New Hampshire, and they cannot be outsourced!

Furthering the creation of jobs, I will

advocate for the federal government to partner with state programs, like our New Hampshire Working initiative that enables businesses to keep employees on the payroll with reduced hours. It is essential that this country rewards companies that keep jobs in America. More than ever, we need tougher financial reform. If Wall Street banks are healthy enough to pay outrageous executive bonuses, then they are healthy enough to pay back every single cent they took from taxpayers. I will fight to hold banks accountable and make sure that if a bank fails, the CEO is fired instead of getting a bonus and a bailout. As I meet people across this district, I am struck by how much distrust they have for the people who represent them in Washington, and some of it is well- deserved. There is too much corporate power and too many special interest groups influencing lawmakers. Last year alone, more $3 billion was spent on lobbying. Imagine what that kind of

having to work more than one job to bring food to the family table, for small businesses that are struggling, for the unemployed, and especially for the middle class. Alejandro is in favor of the integration of immigrants into our society. He believes that we need to develop a more constructive dialogue as to the immigration crisis. Alejandro firmly stands against racial profiling because it is unconstitutional and immoral. Alejandro opposes the sales and income tax. He believes that, “Higher taxes will only further burden families and negatively affect economic growth in New Hampshire.” Alejandro is an activist for affordable healthcare for all. He

for the New Hampshire House of Representatives because he cares about the concerns of families in our community. The House of Representatives in Concord should reflect the people they serve. Our district, District 27, is mostly represented by ultra-conservative partisan voices. They do not adequately represent, nor pay enough credence to the independent spirit and bipartisanship that the people of Hudson, Litchfield, and Pelham embody.

He is going to continue working for healthcare coverage with premiums and co-pays that are based on a family’s ability to pay and one that does not limit payments for covered services. money could do for the people who are hurting in this economy.

During the recent healthcare debate, pharmaceutical lobbyists put together a backroom sweetheart deal, preventing negotiations that economists estimate will cost American taxpayers $200 billion over the next 10 years. Medicare is the largest purchaser of prescription drugs in the world, and it is wrong that they cannot buy drugs in volume discounts as other government programs can. If I have the privilege and opportunity

to serve you in Congress, I can assure you that I will have a litmus test for every piece of legislation that comes before me. Does it strengthen and help middle-class families and give them a better chance to achieve their American dream? If it does, it will have my support. If it doesn’t, it will not. In tough times like these, we must turn our focus to the struggling homeowner in Salem facing foreclosure, the woman in Nashua who has to work two jobs to put food on the table, and the family in Pelham facing bankruptcy because of the growing cost of medical care. These are the real problems we face here in New Hampshire, and it is these hard-working people and others like them that I will fight for in Congress.

My eyes are bright and like the energizer bunny, I’m always ready to go, go go! I’m a happy, energetic 1 year old male Aussie Cross with a handsome tan and white coat. I have completed obedience training but have a lot of energy to burn and would like to run and play all day. My perfect companion is someone who runs or jogs daily or is an

outdoor person who loves to walk trails and hike. As is the case with my breed, I have

strong herding instincts, so I am not a good fit in a home with cats, small dogs or little children. Like all of the pets here at the Humane Society, I am spayed/neutered, microchiped, and up to date on all of my vaccines. Please adopt me today!

My name is Leonora, and while I was not happy to have my photo taken, I really am a happy cat who loves to talk! I am a 3 year old brown and white tabby with stunning green

eyes. I enjoy being held, petted, and conversing with “my person.” Don’t worry though, I’m not afraid to let you know when I’m done and need some time by myself. I’m happy around other cats and like to play, though sometimes will I bite and scratch playfully. Since I have been at the shelter for 6 months, my adoption fees are waived and someone could take me home for little out of pocket money (microchip and

spay/neuter fees still apply). Please come to the shelter and adopt me. I’m eager to go home with my new family.
