Introduction


As a society your first port of call for anything you need or plan on doing is the UHSU Resource Centre. Please come in or e-mail the relevant person for anything you need.


The UHSU Resource Centre is above the Ele House Pub on college lane campus. The same place as your sabbatical office, the job centre and the UHSU lettings office.


Accessing the UHSU Resource Centre


To access the UHSU Resource Centre through the Forum: From the first floor of the forum go down the steps behind the box office, through the automatic doors, across the ‘courtyard’ through 3 sets of double doors and in to the UHSU Resource Centre .


To access the centre from the college lane halls of residence: walk down the external staircase (next to the Key Centre) before you get to the slope walk around the left of the building in front and you will find the door at the ‘side’ of the building facing the road.


A little bit about UHSU and it services.


You as the committee are responsible for the management and running of your society but we are here to help you. You must come to us for everything you need in relation to your society, be it a room booking, booking a football pitch, printing posters or marketing yourself.


It is very important to be aware that the Student Union (SU) does not have the sole use of any facilities however we work with the University and other departments who do their best to help us accommodate your needs. Additionally the SU does not own any equipment that it can give you to assist with your society needs.
