Christine (Burtts)


Christopherson, Class of ’97, and husband Raymond, Pierre, had a baby girl, Malori Merry, Oct. 5, 2006. Christine recently earned her master's degree in library and media science from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She was also elected the President of the Correctional Education Association for South Dakota.


Karen Dresser, Class of ’92, White Plains, Md., adopted a baby girl, Amelia Elizabeth, Sept. 8, 2006. Amelia


was born July 4th, 2006. Karen is 5th grade teach- er in Prince George’s County, Maryland.


Teka (Pauley) Mutchler, Class of ’93 and hus- band Marvin, Class of ’84, Canutillo, Texas, welcomed twin girls, ShyAnn Marie and Dagen Rae on Oct. 27, 2007.


Joe Divis, Class of ’95 and wife Katherine (Walton), Class of ’96, Rapid City, had a baby boy, Joshua Michael, July 1, 2007. He weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz. and was 20 inches long. He joins his sister Alisha, and three brothers Tyler, Nathan

Louise Johnston, Class of ’30, Belle Fourche, receives a visit from Tom Wheaton, Director of Alumni Relations on October 31st. Her entire education took place on the Spearfish campus starting in 1914 as a first-grader and continuing through graduation from Spearfish Normal School in 1930. At the time of this photo, Louise was 99. She turned 100 on November 30th, 2007.

Christina (Houghton) Marta, Class of ’97, and husband Shawn, Spearfish, had a baby boy, Jensen Ellis, April 30, 2007. Christina is a Licensed Personal Assistant with the Real Estate Center in Spearfish.


Fred Jackson, Class of ’98, and wife Jennifer, Holbrook, Ariz., had a baby girl, Brooke Marie, Oct. 10, 2007. Fred is a second grade teacher at Park Elementary school in the Holbrook School District.
