university, Schallenkamp dedicates most of her time to university related duties. "I don't have spare time. My commit


ment to the campus is really a 24 7 job," Schallenkamp says. Since moving to the Black Hills meant


moving away from family members, she and her husband are making concentrat ed efforts to stay connected with their children, and especially their grandchil dren, as they become accustomed to their new location. "Ken and I enjoy our Saturday morn


ings. We havearoom in thehouse where we drink tea and watch the birds. It's a special time for us," Schallenkamp says. She is also looking forward to spending time enjoying their new location in the Black Hills.
