Which piece of work are you most proud of? From purely an achievement point of view, my recent commission for Spotify doing all the interior graphic designs for their new Soho offices is my most ambitious project. However, this year, I am delighted to have had my screen-printed works commissioned and placed in the books of prestigious London gallery Jealous Gallery, alongside Banksy and Andy Warhol originals.

You were recently commissioned by Universal Records to design some artwork for their digital department. How did this come about? I had produced a few bespoke pieces of handmade, limited edition packaging for some of their clients, including a hand-stitched and

printed felt 7” record sleeve. This gave me the opportunity to show Universal my portfolio. They asked me to create two large-scale pieces of design for the glass partitions and cupboards in the offices of their digital department and we ended up with two huge 3 metre by 2 metre designs that were die-cut on self-adhesive vinyl. It looked great and led to me getting the Spotify commission when they saw it whilst having a meeting at Universal.

What’s next for Eggcup soldier? We are just about to embark on our second collection of products. We are also creating a second edition of our “Lefty Loosey” print, as the first edition has now sold out and we will be launching our new collection of tea towels, tote bags, cushion covers, handmade books and more.

Finally where can we buy your work? All the Eggcup Solder posters are available through the online gallery at Print Club London and you can also check out the website at www.weareflyingmachines.com www.printclublondon.com
