YOUTEK is HEAD’s latest umbrella concept for all racket technologies.
Under the squash YOUTEK umbrella the technologies are d3o and Teflon. d3o belongs to the smart materials category: it is soft at slow speeds but locks together on impact. During high speed impact and fast swings, the d3o dramatically increases its stiffness, therefore providing maximum power. On slow swings the d3o absorbs the impact load to provide a softer touch and better feel. Teflon enables the strings to slide through the grommets with nearly no friction.
The HEAD YouTek Xenon 135 also has Corrugated technology for power along with a new cross section for more control when striking the ball close to the court wall, an extended C-shape for more power.

KARAKALTECGEL120
The new Karakal TEC GEL 120 has borrowed technology from the brand’s Q4 tennis racket series and uses the Karakal NANO Titanium GEL system with four graphite nodes raised inside the head to smooth out harmful vibrations and stiffen the head for power and control.
The racket also features Karakal’s inner muscle system, which enables the frame to be strung at lower tension but still gives a high tension feel; Power Wings on the shaft to decrease torque and increase power; and an inbuilt logo vibration dampener just above the grip to reduce string and frame vibration to an absolute minimum.
All Karakal rackets are fitted with the ‘World’s No.1 PU Super Grip’.

TECNIFIBRECARBOFLEX 130BASALTEX
Tecnifibre’s latest range includes the new Carboflex 130 Basaltex model, a lighter version of the Carboflex 140 Basaltex racket developed in association with Thierry Lincou, and used on the PSA World Tour by three-time World Junior Champion Mohamed El Shorbagy, who is now ranked in the men’s top 15.
The Carboflex 130 Basaltex features Isomoph Shaft technology, where a tendon is added onto the shaft to increase stiffness by 25% for more power. These tendons are known as Basaltex Transmitters, made using mineral fibres from volcanic lava stone, which is 92% more resistant than a fibreglass construction. The transmitters are located in line on the shaft for flex control and as a result increase the strength and power of the racket, whilst also enhancing player feel.
