“Thumbs up to Hudson Cleaners! Thank

you for returning all my personal belongings you found in my clothes, you have earned my business for life! I will refer anyone who needs dry cleaning to your services. I am still amazed at how professional you are, and thankful that you would never steal. Thank you again!”

“Thumbs up, a giant ‘thumbs up’ to Bibby

for you saving the day for nana and papa! You smelled a rat and saved the day. You go girlfriend!!!! You are my hero!!!”

“Thumbs down to the bikers with their LOUD

pipes. I know there is a law regulating that, but you are never cited. The cops don’t care . Yeah, I know LOUD pipes save YOUR lives so motorists can hear you when they can’t see you. What about terminally ill children who NEED TO SLEEP. What about THEIR LIVES??? The Patriot Guard Riders will receive a similar message as this... HOW DO YOU GUYS FEEL NOW? So go ahead and light off your pipes on side streets, thank you, real safe guys ... Think about that next time you go to sleep, WE DON’T GET TO SLEEP.”

“Thumbs down, way DOWN to the person in the minivan driving on Brenton Street at 11:00 P.M. Tuesday night with the overactive car horn. Why do you honk your car horn at my dog and I as we walk. I just about threw the poop I was scooping. Do you have no respect for the people who live on Brenton Street who are sleeping? Do you think I don’t have the right to walk my dog on the side of the road? Beep-beep-beep to you too!”

“Thumbs up to all my neighbors who allowed our local football players to offer them a discount card for the team. We completely understand if you can not afford one or if you already got one but thank you for giving these kids a good experience. Remember, they have to do this ... they are not con-men.”

“Thumbs down to the ATV rider(s) off of Old Derry Road & Rt. 102. The noise on Sunday was ridiculous, extending from early in the day till late in the evening. It was also an issue Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and again, till after 10 PM. Please, have some respect for your neighbors who may want to enjoy a weekend family BBQ and who need to get up early for work.”

Thumbs Up? Thumbs Down? “We want to be your Mechanic”

“Thumbs down to the Alvirne High football coach, who has made another big mistake before the season has even begun. Those kids work hard and deserve better coaching. You don’t even give them a chance to win.”

“Thumbs down, a big ‘thumbs

down’ to the rude woman in the town offices building department! It is the residents of Hudson that pay your salary, maybe you should remember that and not be so rude to your customers. While you may know the rules and ordinances your average Joe may not and should not be made to feel stupid or be yelled at and belittled by you!”

“Thumbs down to Hudson PD car 12 on 8/17/10 at 10:30 a.m. on Route 93 South that flew by us doing at least 80 to 85 mph in the 55mph zone where Route 101 and 293 intersect with Route 93. Practice what you are paid to uphold, THE LAW. You are not above it. This officer has not right to hand out any speeding tickets to anyone in this town or any town.”

“Thumbs up to my wife. I can see it in your eyes and I can hear it in your voice, you miss your child even though he hasn’t left. It’s hard to watch your little ones leave the nest, when not so long ago you held his hand a his first day at GMS. He needs to grow and take his next step, he will always be with you now and forever at your side and so shall I.”

‘meet and greet’ meeting with your continued whining of the opposition. Quit telling me what they are doing and tell me what you are doing... which I already know by your voting record and are very, very disappointed. My representative needs to be someone that can make a difference in a challenging environment and think of me over themselves. My vote is going elsewhere now.”

“Thumbs down to cutting

down beautiful trees. I was sad when I drove down Cleaveau Landing and saw what has happened there. Someone has cut down tree after tree and has just left them lying there. It is an eyesore. Why would anyone devalue property like that. What a mess. If anyone hasn’t been there I would like people to take a drive there and write in their comments.”

“Thumbs up to Ms. Clegg!

The rides ROCKED, the fried dough was AWESOME and I got to stay out wicked late. Thank you for working so hard. Your cart was really cool too. Love, Sara.”

“Thumbs up to the town of Hudson for finally approving a public water and sewer line installation for Musquash Road we needed it so bad with all the new construction of houses putting such a strain on

our wells, it will be great to have these public utilities.”

“Thumbs down to the ATV driver in the area of Burns Hill Rd./ Mark St. who woke the whole neighborhood at 1:AM Sat. morning 8/21/10! This is a quiet neighborhood. We do not mind you using your ATV during normal hours, nobody complains. But, come on ! Have a LITTLE respect for YOUR neighborhood! We are not the type of people to get the HPD involved, but please don’t forget, even during the day and evening there are children playing and pets being walked. PLEASE be careful and demonstrate a little respect for yours and our neighborhood.”

“Thumbs down to the two guys that drive around all day in the Hudson School District pick up truck. Do they ever do any work? Almost every day I see them driving around. Stop wasting gas and taxpayers money and do so some work please!!!”

“Thumbs down. To item B1267 and those that made it happen. People trying to make a living in a free society. The nerve. To the individuals who now feel safe and protected go back and hide under your bed and feed your paranoia there are still bogie men out there.”

“Thumbs down to the town of Hudson. Greeley Street is heavily traveled and has a lot of walkers and bikers on it and without a shoulder to even walk on. They need sidewalks like they have on Albuquerque in Litchfield.”

“Thumbs down. Where was the Hudson Fire Department at Old Home Days??? Litchfield fire showed how to be community members.”

“Thumbs down. Can we vote for more than one new Hudson Selectman in March.”

“Thumbs up to the BEST

Mechanic we have ever had. If not for your talent, dedication, fairness and honesty, Destiny would be hoofin’ it! For the last 5 years you have helped us out of so many jams...and kept our new and old cars running perfectly! Thanks Chappy! We would be lost without you!”

“Thumbs down, way down to House Bill 1267, Gandia, the chiefs and others who had a hand in its passage. I am an independent and I never again wish to hear how the republicans are for less regulation, taxes and fees. I have researched this bill and it will not get my vote, et al.”

“Thumbs down, HFD Truck

34, where are you? Again. “Thumbs up to Ladies night.
