Paula Begoun is a US-based beauty expert who has over 30 years experience in the industry and is the author of several best selling beauty


books. Known as the ‘Cosmetics Cop’, Begoun’s books help to dispel common beauty myths and aid customers in making the right product choices. Begoun is also a consultant to dermatologists, plastic surgeons, major cosmetics companies and industry insiders. This has led to regular appearances on programmes such as Oprah, CNN and The Today Show to share her advice. Page 15.

Andrew Dixon is the general manager for Burt’s Bees Europe. He joined the company in 2009 after gaining experience across many health and


beauty brands and successfully leading retail and sales development projects in India, Germany, Kazakhstan and Italy. Since joining Burt’s Bees, Dixon has been responsible for launching the brand in France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Holland, Belgium and Croatia. Dixon says: “Burt’s Bees is built on the belief that everyone can make a difference and we are all responsible for playing a part”. Page 21.

Philip Kingsley is regarded as the world’s most respected authority on hair and scalp health and is responsible for coining the phrase ‘bad


hair day.’ During his 55 years as a trichologist he has worked with politicians, royals and celebrities including Audrey Hepburn, Sir Laurence Olivier, John Travolta, Kate Winslet, Renee Zellweger, Lucy Liu and Sigourney Weaver at his clinics in New York and London.
