the Dixie Doll Tattoo Parlour
V
intage is definitely coming back with a vengeance; you can put a new twist on the old style, bringing it to life a bit.
Tell us a bit about Dixie Doll Tattoos.
For the last two years I have run my business in the beautiful seaside resort of Southbourne in Bourne- mouth. I work with my husband, who runs a gentleman’s barber’s shop on the ground floor and I work downstairs.
It is a very retro business with vintage hairstyling products with rockabilly and burlesque kitsch on display, and my husband normally dressed in tweed or vintage clothing offering a relaxed, old style service of barbering and traditional shaves. Downstairs, we have a relaxed, light and airy 1940s inspired theme and we welcome people to come in for a chat and a coffee and to relax and chill.
