Resettlement support for young offenders expands into new prison


Depaul UK has won the tender to provide resettlement support in London’s newest prison, HMP YOI Isis. Following on from our success in other young offender institutions, Depaul UK will have three staff based inside the prison providing a range of services and support to ensure that young people have secure accommodation on their release. The scheme will also offer family mediation, mentoring and help young people access training and development schemes. To read more about the project go to www.depauluk.org/isis

partnership launched with Rubik’s Cube This summer Depaul UK has launched a new range of specially designed Rubik’s


Cubes to help promote our work. The cubes have been donated by Rubik’s Cube and designed free of charge by Fitch to raise awareness and help increase donations. Throughout the summer, Depaul UK was present at a number of festivals and events,

Broadening Horizons shortlisted for Andy Ludlow Award Depaul UK’s work


placement scheme for young people has been shortlisted for the prestigious Andy Ludlow Awards, the country’s leading homelessness awards. The awards are given to organisations that demonstrate innovative and creative solutions to tackling homelessness. All of the six shortlisted entries will receive recognition and a relative share of the prize money to go towards the development of their services. The winner will be announced on the 21st of October and will receive £25,000, with the two runners up each receiving £10,000 and the rest receiving £2,000 each.
