“When I Was 21…”


As part of our 21st birthday celebrations we are launching the When I Was 21 campaign. We are asking people to submit a short reflection on when they were 21; what they were doing and their hopes for the future, as well as a high res image. Celebrities and entrepreneurs have already begun submitting entries, and now we want to hear from you!

Race Night


Thank you to our Deputy Chief Executive’s local pub, The Woodman, Ide Hill, who organised a Race Night in June. Armed with a pack from the brewery, they got race sponsors, sold horses, devised a simple tout system, and developed a How British Are You? quiz. With a great turn out, some very generous punters, and great gifts for the auction, it raised a fantastic £3,000. Annual Golf Day Thank you to John Curtin and friends for organising the Golf Day at Bedford Golf Club on 11th June. The event raised £4,100.


Big Sleep Out Congratulations to staff and volunteers at The Grove who raised £300 in sponsorship for their Big Sleep Out on 20th June.


21 Hour Run and Family Fun Day Thank you to staff and volunteers in North Tyneside for organising the 21 hour run on 21st August. Funds are still coming in!


iHobo Donations As well as raising the profile of Depaul UK nationwide, the iHobo application has


generated over £7,500 in donations.
