It’s making communities a place everyone feels they belong.


The idea of a senior residence being somewhere you’re “sent” needs to change. We believe no community is healthy


unless its elders are given the chance to enrich the lives of their family, friends and other community members.


Bringing that belief to life requires a philosophical shift


about how we understand aging, and new perspectives on what is sacred to our communities. It requires new advances in technology that allow seniors to stay self-sufficient for as long as possible. And it requires a commitment to see the work through to completion.


It’s time to make every Good Samaritan center a


centerpiece of its community. To help people understand the power of this vision, and show other communities and leaders across the country why it’s important. It’s the only way we’re going to make sure that all of us are cared for in the way we need.
