FPA Diary Dates The FPA has two key events coming up and is urging members to mark their diaries. The FPA annual Go-Karting day takes place on September 13 at Daventry go-karting track. As always, it promises to be a great day out for members and their customers. Places are filling fast and Martin Kersh, Secretary of the FPA urges members to contact him as soon as possible to reserve tickets.
On September 24, FPA members will also enjoy the annual House of Commons Lunch, this year hosted by Andrew Selous, Member of Parliament for South West Bedfordhire. Tickets for this event sold out in just a few hours, the limitation being space in the Members Dining Room. Members are urged to ensure that they ring fence the date in the diary.

Former founder and managing director of Rugby- based distributor, Central Catering Supplies and now Conservative MP for his hometown of Rugby, Mark Pawsey has made it one of his first parliamentary tasks to join the All Party Parliamentary Group for Packaging. The secretariat for the group
is provided by The Packaging Federation - an “over-arching” trade association for the UK Packaging Manufacturing Industry that acts as a unique representative body for companies and organisations in the UK packaging sector. The federation’s key role is to provide a balanced picture of the role of packaging in society and to lobby for a debate on
