Secure sales with Neat Ideas

D

espite the tough economic climate one company is going against the

grain and has had its best ever year in 27 years of trading. Neat Ideas believes it offers retailers something different and a unique way of operating. With three ranges: kitchenware, homecare and garden, Neat Ideas uses media screens in-store to sell its products. Sales Manager Colin Higgs explains, “It’s very simple; we agree a promotion schedule with the buyers and our Retail Support

Team then visit the stores, set up the screens and stands, which are provided free of charge, and merchandise the stock. The screens will run all day, everyday selling the product direct to the stores customers. Products advertised this way will sell many, many more items than if they were just sat on a shelf. Promotions last approximately six weeks at which point the Support Team re- visits the stores, uplifts any remaining product and sets up the new promotion. “The sale or return aspect gives buyers confidence because there is absolutely no risk to them at all, although it’s unlikely there will be a great deal of

stock left!” The Neat Ideas ranges are made up of good quality products that have many everyday uses and appeal to the mass market, whilst the screens help to bring them to life for the consumer. They offer new stores the chance to trial their concept for a month so they can see for themselves the benefits of having Neat Ideas. Neat Ideas recently received a great response at the Exclusively Housewares show. See Neat Ideas at Autumn Fair: stand D39, hall 2.
