Strength, integrity and innovation
EAM Worldwide successfully launches new technology and corporate identity
EAM Worldwide, a leading manufacturer of top quality safety equipment and technology for the aviation industry, proudly announces the successful launch of its new RFID-enabled application and its new corporate identity at the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg. Heralded as one of the most important shows in the industry, AIX proved to be the quintessential platform for EAM to effectively introduce its new asset tracking applications, products and brand logo.
Live Demonstration Piqued Interest EAM RFID Solutions, a division of EAM Worldwide, provided on-going live
demonstrations of its new RFID application which helps clients manage assets by tracking inventory and capturing data. By recreating a small area of an aircraft interior, EAM RFID Solutions demonstrated how its life vests could easily be tracked and managed in seconds with
the simple click of a handheld device. Eliminating the need for manual inspections, EAM’s RFID-enabled safety products could be located by its embedded tracking chip with a signal going back to report its location, product information, whether or not it had been tampered with and when a maintenance deadline was approaching. In addition to its own products, EAM demonstrated how any in-cabin asset could benefit from this technology including crash axes, torches, safety information cards, oxygen bottles and more. “We were expecting a warm reception to our new RFID-enabled application, and were delighted to see our existing and potential clients waiting in line just to have the opportunity to see the live demonstration,” stated Eloy Leal, Director of Engineering / Operations. “Our booth was packed from the moment the show opened to the last possible demonstration on the last day of the show.”
EAM was proud to report that two new aviation clients signed up for the new technology in addition to several of the company’s existing clientele. “Even businesses outside the airline sector expressed sincere interest in EAM’s ability to incorporate the inventory management system into their own operations” exclaimed Manny Gato, Director of Sales. “The applications for this technology seem to be endless, and our clients are thrilled with the additional cost savings this technology can bring by avoiding manual inspection.”
New Corporate Look Widely Praised Due to the worldwide exposure of Aircraft
Interiors Expo, EAM strategically introduced its new name and corporate identity. Formerly known as Eastern Aero Marine, the formal name change to EAM Worldwide was based on direct industry feedback. In addition, EAM developed a new logo to best represent where the Company is going today as well as in the future. “We are extremely respectful of our long history in business yet realised our former name and logo represented only the past of our Company versus the future,” stated Miriam Oroshnik, CEO and President. “EAM stands for strength and integrity as well as innovation and forward-thinking practices. Our new name and logo successfully communicates our goals.” The new look was widely applauded by industry clients and partners throughout the show. EAM’s new website,
www.eamworldwide.com, also launched during the show with great success.
