Luxury above the clouds


In response to a request by Airbus and Emirates, Franke Aquarotter has breathed technical life into the exclusive washbasin unit designed by the well known Pierrejean Design Studio in Paris for the First Class Shower Spa on the Emirates Airbus A380. The elegantly curved outlet is flanked by two noble, dark blue crystal knobs that trigger


water flow (right) and facilitate easy temperature selection (left). When the control knob on the right is turned, an electronic pulse triggers water flow that automatically stops after a preset time of seven seconds. This ensures economical water consumption of 1.5 - 1.7 l/min also on the First Class Shower Spa without sacrificing the comfort or convenience.
