BAMFORD WINS BRITISH SINGLES The Mitsubishi British Opens Singles ended with a five game final between young Robert Fletcher of Australia and Reg Bamford of South Africa. Bamford won the final 3-2 with the following scores -- +16 -17tp +17tp -26tp +12tpo. The doubles finals are still waiting to complete. The doubles finals were delayed as Robert Fletcher was busy in the singles final. Fletcher and Stephen Mulliner won the first game versus Jeff Dawson and Samir Patel (+1) and the rest of the match is to be completed during MacRobertson Shield play.
USCA MIDWEST REGIONALS Britt Ruby took the Midwest Regional championship held June 16-20 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Final championship flight standings follow:

TOXAWAY MOUNTAIN GC RESULTS Danny Huneycutt and Sherif Abdelwahab foced off for a golf croquet exhibition on July 10 at the Lake Toxaway Mallet Club in the North Carolina mountains in front of 140 spectators. Huneycutt took the match 7-6. The USCA sponsored the event and similar exhibitions will soon be scheduled for New York, Palm Springs, and Palm Beach.

ENGLAND WINS HOME INTERNATIONALS The Croquet Association website reported that England won the Home Internationals with a perfect 3-0 record. The team association croquet competition includes England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
NEW ACA EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR The Australian Croquet Association announced that Ms Gail Farr has been appointed to the position of Executive Director. She will replace Maree Skinner.
