Law Print Turn Up the Heat with Qbag Acquisition

aw Print & Packaging Management Ltd, have announced that they have completed the purchase of the Qbag business from FFP Packaging Solutions Ltd. The acquisition included the Qbag business, trademark, intellectual property, pending patents, website and manufacturing machinery. According to Tim Law, Managing Director of Law Print & Packaging Ltd, the Qbag manufacturing machinery will be re-sited to a new production facility and the award winning Qbag will be re- launched internationally within six months. Qbag Ltd has been formed as a subsidiary of Law Print & Packaging Ltd to promote the Qbag product internationally from a Stockport based HQ. Tim Law explained: “The acquisition of the Qbag business represents the next stage of our strategic growth plans. Chester Medical announces £500k investment
Steadily increasing demand for its services has prompted leading pharmaceutical contract packer Chester Medical Solutions to invest around £500K in new printing facilities. To satisfy unprecedented levels of business, the company’s existing 20,000 sq ft printing operation at its factory in Deeside, North Wales will be increased by a further 10,000 sq ft. The expansion programme also involves the installation of new equipment to maintain Chester Medical’s world-class production standards. In addition to the extra space, the investment will enable Chester Medical to obtain PS9000 accreditation for pharmaceutical packing, a globally-acclaimed standard published by the Pharmaceutical Quality Group (PQG).
