he UK’s biggest supplier of pneumatic products and process systems, Thorite, has supplied and installed a new Compair high pressure air compressor and pipework to world-leading household and personal care products manufacturer McBride, at the company’s Burnley production plant. The high pressure compressor is delivering compressed air at 40bar to power three PET blow moulding machines. This is planned to rise to four machines, to meet increased demand for the convenient trigger spray bottles, containing antiseptics or cleaning products which the blow moulding machines manufacture. McBride specialises in five product categories: laundry liquids, automatic dishwashing tablets, personal care, air care and specialist cleaners. Over
