Radiation therapy was part of Ellen’s treatment plan. She knew that Fox Chase had just opened a new radiation facility in Buckingham Township, not quite 15 minutes from her home. Just one month after her annual mammogram, the last thing Ellen Anthonisen expected to find was a lump in her breast. But that’s exactly what happened.
Ellen received radiation through intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) for six weeks. Before she knew it, Ellen was finished with treatment and returned to life relieved, grateful, and empowered.
