for innovative and successful programs. This year, I am happy to report that MAC came home with two of the 11 program-of- the-year awards. Outdoor Activities Program’s Rogue River rafting trip took home the recreational program of the year honor, while gymnastics’ Parkour/freerunning class was selected for the children’s recreational program of the year. While the number of entries was up this year, MAC was the only club to have at least one entrant in each of the 11 categories, which is a tribute to the breadth of our offer- ings in addition to the quality. That said, we continue to work hard to

meet the wants and needs of our members, while keeping up with changes in and around the industry. One such change is the expan- sion of our online reservation programs, which started with tennis and now include handball, racquetball and squash, so you can now reserve one of those courts online. We are working to add the batting cage as well. Our new athletic summer camp format,

which offers two-hour options up to full-day coverage, has been well-attended this summer. That said, we’d still like to hear from you about our summer camp programs. If you attended one of the camps and have completed the online survey, thank you. If you haven’t, I encourage you to go to theMAC.com and under Contact Us, Surveys, complete the summer camp survey. And, if you have chil- dren ages 3 to 18 and they did not attend a MAC summer camp, I encourage you to complete the survey to let us know what we missed or could change to make the camps appealing to you. Our goal is to continue meeting and

exceeding members’ expectations, and I hope in doing so we continue to bring positive recognition to MAC and its programs. Enjoy the rest of your summer. I hope to see you around the club this month. WM
