Recruit a Friend for the Team Decathlon
G
et ready for next spring’s Decathlon by preparing for, and participating in,
the Team Decathlon in November. A few months from now friends, spouses, parents and teenage children form teams of two to compete in 10 events. Team members work together to complete push ups, vertical leap, bench press, 40-yard shuttle run, 50-yard swim, free throws, bike, mile run, 1,000-meter row and jump rope. Whether members are avid or amateur
athletes, competing in the Team Decathlon provides a new challenge and an invigo- rating workout, encourages participants to meet new people, and culminates in celebrating accomplishments at the Team Decathlon banquet.
