AC invites members of all ages to experience the club in fun and inno-
vative ways during Spirit Week Monday, Sept. 20 through Saturday, Sept. 25. The week is capped off with an extraordinary celebration on Saturday. Spirit Week ensures opportunities to
enrich members’ MAC experience and forge friendships through the week of club-wide activities. The word ‘spirit’ also corresponds with the acronym for MAC’s core values: stewardship, professionalism, inclusiveness, respect, involvement and teamwork. The following are some of the planned events for Spirit Week.
Behind-the-scenes tour Participants tour places rarely seen by the public eye. After the tour ends, enjoy a gourmet box lunch, prepared by Executive Chef Philippe Boulot, on the terrace. A celebrity MAC historian provides unique bits of history about the club.
Performance stage
Daily exhibits, demonstrations and shows are performed live on Spirit Stage.
MAC trivia night Groups of four team up for MAC trivia
night. Members test their trivia knowledge, meet other MAC members, and win some cool prizes.
Schoolhouse supplies drive Throughout Spirit Week, members can
donate schoolhouse supplies in drop boxes located in designated areas of the club.
Tailgate party Members gather in the Turnaround in
their collegiate colors for a tailgate party. Everyone can mingle with other members and challenge those individuals from a
different conference to a game of bean bag toss, and enjoy hot dogs and hamburgers fresh off the grill. The tailgate also includes music, games, a cash bar, giveaways and performances.
Scavenger hunt Members test their analytical skills and
ability to traverse the club. Participants are divided into competing groups to scour the club in pursuit of answers to questions or directives to find club places.
Family Fridays Friday-night fun continues as Family Fridays welcomes Radio Disney.
Additional specials In addition to these activities, club restaurants offer menu specials and a dinner event. The Salon, The -M-porium, child care and massage have promotional specials. There are daily prize drawings as well as unique athletic classes and seminars. Look for more information on Spirit
