A DMINISTRATIVE
Members Encouraged to Take 2010 MAC Survey S
tarting Monday, Aug. 26 the club wants Multnomah Athletic Club senior resident members to provide feedback on current and future programs and services by participating in a five-year club survey. As part of MAC’s ongoing strategic planning process, a comprehensive membership survey is completed every five years and is more in-depth than the annual Member Satisfaction Survey. This year’s five-year survey is the club’s fourth such survey. This survey is open to all senior resident and intermediate members and is administered by an outside firm so all information is held in the strictest confi- dence.
The five-year survey measures member interests and satisfaction with services and staff, and identifies key trends based upon comparison with prior club surveys. The board strongly encourages member partici- pation.
The ad-hoc survey committee recom- mended, with subsequent board approval, to once-again contract with Ferreira Company to conduct the survey. Ferreira conducted the club’s last five-year survey and has surveyed hundreds of clubs across North America.
The Ferreira Company held member focus groups at the club in early July. These focus groups assisted in identifying key topics and in formulating survey ques- tions.
Members have only three weeks to participate in the survey, which starts Thursday, Aug. 26 and ends Friday, Sept. 17.
To complete the survey online, go to
www.themac.com member home page in the bar and click on the survey link, or go directly to
www.ferreiracompany.net and click on the MAC logo (members may need to scroll down to see it). If members have difficulty entering
the club’s website, entering their member number, and/or finishing the survey, they should contact Charlie Levenson (clev-
enson@themac.com; 503-223-6251 ext. 603) for assistance.
Paper copies of the survey are available at the Concierge Desk.
All information gathered during the survey is held in the strictest confi- dence. Only Ferreira Company sees the completed survey.
An executive summary of the survey results will be prepared by Ferreira Company and available to members.

Parking Structure Re-Striping Causes Closures
embers should expect closures and delays in the MAC Parking Structure as the re-striping project continues through August. The re-striping project began in July with the fourth floor. The project proceedes with each floor being re-striped. Every attempt is being made to limit closures and delays, and members are asked to be patient during the project.
M
Arrangements are being made to adequately supply handicap and motor- cycle parking. The Parking Structure elevators are not expected to be impacted at all, but as with any major project, things may change.
The club continues most of the communication about the project through the
www.themac.com, MACtivities and entrance fliers. WM
