which will entitle you to attend a free screening arranged each month.

Augustʼs Slackerʼs Club devotes its attention to Scott Pilgrim vs The World, which Iʼm sure will be putting a smile on all comic book fans faces, knowing that Scottʼs precious little life has now been adapted for the big screen. The Slackers screening date is August 25th, but here comes the science part… spaces are limited for each screening and so seats will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so get your hands on that all-essential card pronto!

The first rule of Slackers Club is that you tell everyone about Slackers Club, the second rule of Slackers Club is that you tell everyone about Slackers Club and the third rule about Slackers Club is that you have to be a student… no, seriously!

I

f you havenʼt seen the latest explosive blockbuster film, The A-Team, then you clearly havenʼt been slacking enough. Cue epic soundtrack and manly movie voiceover…

For those of you who werenʼt

accepted in the 80s, the team they call ʻAʼ have been plucked from the small screen and given a monster makeover. With the chaps always putting their misfit traits aside, they work together in order to ruddy well pull off any mission theyʼre set. Fighting to get their names cleared of a crime they didnʼt commit, the team get back into the swing of things with this feature, by doing what they do best as The A-Team, with no plan B in sight! Right, enough of that manly voice over, cough, cough, cough. The film came out at the end of last month, and this particular slacker got to enjoy the rampaged remake for FREE a day before the official release thanks to Slackerʼs Club…

Here are the factoids for you: E4, the channel that turns you into sofa-velcro, have teamed up with Picturehouse Cinemas to create the Slackerʼs Club, which brings you student-lazy-loafers the opportunity of a free film preview each month. Flash your valid student ID at Norwichʼs own Picturehouse cinema, Cinema City and the men - or women - in black will give you a brand new shiny Slackerʼs Club card for your back pocket

…And in the right corner: Suckʼ - the latest in vampire spoofing, about a struggling band that becomes seduced by the vampire world in order to bring them back to life and propel them to rock ʻnʼ roll fame! With a feisty casting and a killer soundtrack to get your teeth into featuring the likes of Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper, Lou Reed and The Rolling Stones, this feature really will make it a battle to the… undead.

So now youʼre full of the facts, this is your chance to have your say even if in a Slack way! Get your votes in before Wednesday

11th August by heading over to www.e4.com/slackers …and then you can get that thinking cap off and enjoy the rest of the summer!

Let battle commence...

This month, as well as watching Scott Pilgrim take on the whole of the cosmos, you also get to watch a bonus screening on August 11th – and you decide what fan-tab- ulous feature will be shown. Voting has already begun, so briefly put your student thinking cap back on (donʼt worry – itʼll only take a moment; we realise itʼs the summer break) and pick your victor from these two:

In the left corner: ʻCherrybombʼ - a feature to remind us all that every teenager needs their best pal. Malachy (Rupert Grint - Harry Potter) and Luke (Robert Sheehan - Misfits) are the best of buddies and always have been, but may find themselves soon returning their ʻfriendʼs foreverʼ necklaces to each other as they meet someone else - a girl. The BFFs find

themselves competing for a little bit of sugar and her full affections, putting their friendship into question…
