In her capacity as owner of Waxed Works, she gets to tackle the most intimate subjects – and even the most intimate tackle – meeting some interesting folk along the way. f you took a snapshot of the standard conversations we have daily at Waxed Works, they’d go a little like this… “Good grief. How did you manage to burn your bum?” “Ah”, the client replied “that was from the caning I got after my last wax –
my dominatrix probably had PMT and went in a bit hard”. Or of course the familiar “I can’t believe you went on holiday just as I pulled for the 1st time in months – I had to tell the guy I didn’t like foreplay because I couldn’t get a wax!” And what they all have in common is that they all use their waxing as part of their sex lives, so not unsurprisingly a lot of the conversations we have with our clients are of a sexual nature. What you will not hear from our lips is ‘going anywhere nice on ‘oliday’?! (No, I always like to book a crap place to vacation!)
Waxed Works is a specialist waxing studio and whilst my team and I will wax any part of your body we are specialists in intimate waxing. 96% of our clients have an intimate wax and 18% of our clients are men, and it’s a growing trend, especially amongst the fellas. In fact, there are no boundaries on who we see, with our oldest client being 86 – yes, 86 - with careers ranging from Barristers to Escorts.
For the uninitiated, an intimate wax, or extreme waxing as it’s sometimes called, is where the hair from the male or female genitals and anus are removed by the root… did I see you just wince? I must admit it’s not a pain free experience but the benefits are most definitely worth it.
So why get it done? Oh come on, use
your imagination… A survey conducted by us last November revealed that 98% of those that have intimate waxing do so because it enhances their sexual pleasure AND gives them added sexual confidence. Only 2% said that they do it ‘just for themselves’ – and we didn’t believe them. 94% of the men surveyed said they thought that having an intimate wax made their penis look bigger. The other 6% were clearly not looking hard enough!
Whilst we do NOT do extras, we get a real buzz from helping individuals and couples their little extras!
