PUT IT TO THE TEST
Here at SLR we’re constantly kept on our toes by the amount of new products that are launched every month. Of course, each one understandably lays claim to being the best thing since slice bread. That’s why we’ve decided to put a range of products to the test in a real convenience store and our own local retailer just down the stairs from SLR Towers in Glasgow city centre has agreed to help us, by stocking a new product every month then telling us how sales have gone, and what customer reaction has been. The store, Shopsmart is owned by United Wholesale and run by Yaser Chaudrhy. One of his able assistants, Syad Kazim (pictured below) is going to keep an eye on our test products. Kicking off then is Loyd Grossman For One
sauces from Premier Foods. The new range comes in quick-to-prepare microwaveable pouches, are ready to eat in just 45 seconds and available in six Loyd favourites ¬– Tomato & Chilli; Tomato & Basil; Puttanesca; Tomato & Smokey Bacon; Tomato & Roasted Garlic; and classic Carbonara. Rolling out to stores with an rrp of £1.29
(150g), Loyd Grossman For One will be supported by a multi-media campaign kick- ing off this month, led by TV ads. Tune in next
month, to see how the product has performed in our local store, and what the next product to be put to the test will be.
For more information on stocking Loyd Grossman For One, call 01406 367 030.
