Info: 01225 776691 / www.action.org.uk/get_involved/brecons_100 There’s still time, if you get your skates on (what are you, the pope of self-propelled wheeled trans- port?), to register for the Brecon 100 Ride, which is a bike ride of either 100 miles or 100 kilometres depending on which route you choose. Starting in Caerleon, the riders will subsequently meander through the narrow country lanes and challenging hills (replete with spectacular views of the Welsh countryside) up towards Brecon, which presents the possibility of catching some international jazz while you’re hyperventilating in your lycra. This is a Take Action 100 ride which raises funds for Ac- tion Medical Research, a UK charity with a special focus on child health.
