Sailing on the 4★ M.S. Fleurette, or the 5★ M.S. Da Vinci, join us on a journey of discovery as we visit some of Egypt’s fi nest ancient monuments that can be found along the banks of the river Nile, including those at Edfu, Kom Ombo, Aswan and The Valley of the Kings and The Valley of the Queens at Luxor.


DAY ONE


Fly UK to Luxor then transfer by coach (30mins) to your Cruise ship.


DAY TWO - LUXOR In Luxor you will visit the famous Karnak Temple, which dates back to 1600 BC and is a fi ne example of ancient Egyptian architecture. You will also visit the well preserved Luxor Temple which is situated in the heart of the city. An afternoon at leisure which will give you an ample chance to explore.


DAY THREE - LUXOR TO EDFU In the morning you will visit the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens and the imposing Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon you will sail to Edfu.


DAY FOUR - EDFU - KOM OMBO - ASWAN


In Edfu you will visit the Temple of Horus, probably Egypt’s best preserved temple. The temple was built in the Ptolemaic period between 237 and 57 BCE and is the second largest temple in Egypt. Sail to Kom Ombo for a visit to the Temple before sailing to Aswan for an overnight stay.


DAY FIVE - ASWAN


In the morning you will visit the High Dam and Philae Temple which was dedicated to the gentle goddess Isis. In the evening there is an opportunity to visit the sound and light show at the Philae Temple* - a must see!


DAY SIX - ASWAN – ESNA Spend the morning at leisure or take an optional excursion by road or air to Abu Simbel*. In the afternoon enjoy a trip along the Nile by felucca, a traditional Egyptian sailing boat.


DAY SEVEN - ESNA – LUXOR Take an optional full day excursion by air to Cairo to visit the pyramids, the Egyptian Museum of antiques and the bustling Khan-el-Khalili bazaar*. There is also an optional half day excursion by road to visit the Temple of Hathor*.


DAY EIGHT - LUXOR – UK For an unforgettable end to your holiday, why not take an early morning optional balloon fl ight over the west bank*. After lunch on board, transfer by coach to the airport for your return fl ight.

The M.S Fleurette is a four star ship carrying a maximum of 93 guests. She provides a warm and friendly atmosphere onboard with a wide range of facilities. There is a small swimming pool on the sun deck with sun loungers and a pool bar.
