highlights & achievements: Publications

The BRC reconfigured its 2009 publication production efforts to include three distinct publications targeting specific guest audiences. Each of the following three pieces featured a different distribution demographic, content and circulation.

Breckenridge Official Vacation Planner

This publication targeted destination travelers who had yet to decide where to vacation. It was revamped from its previous format, which targeted potential customers already in the process of booking their Breckenridge vacation. The 2009 publication served as the fulfillment piece for Breckenridge Central Reservations, providing a line listing for lodging properties at no cost to members. The guide encouraged potential visitors to call Central Reservations or visit GoBreck.com and GoBreckNow.com for more detailed information and/or to book their vacation. Circulation: 20,000 (one-year shelf life) Distribution: Consumer travel shows, GoBreck.com, phone requests, direct mail and distribution points outside Summit County (DIA, State Welcome Centers, etc.)

Breckenridge Official Guide to Meetings + Weddings B

This publication was designed to provide comprehensive information on all things group-related (20 people or more). The guide focused on group lodging, event locations, team-building activities, dining, transportation and wedding vendors. Circulation: 5,000 with reprints as needed (two-year shelf life)
